Ordering & Delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit https://www.RoseAndRaeBowtique.com/account/register and follow the instructions on-screen or click Create Account at the top right of the home page. 

What is Route and Why is it in my cart?

Route Package Protection is a protection solution that helps cover your order in the event that your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. Protection is optional, and can be added during checkout.

We automatically add this to your cart at checkout for your convenience and security. This service is only $0.98 for orders under $100 and only 3% for orders over $100. We HIGHLY recommend keeping this package protection in your cart when checking out, but it can easily be removed from the cart if you desire.  

Where is my order confirmation?

Order Confirmations are automatically sent to the email address assiciated with the form of payment you use when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch with us ASAP at RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve requested for us to cancel the order. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem with stock on our end. We’ll always reach out to you beforehand to offer an alternative product, a store credit, or process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: Any custom orders cannot be canceled once custom materials have been ordered or once we have started creating your custom pieces. Thank you for understanding. 

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

PLEASE NOTE: Any custom orders CANNOT be canceled once custom materials have been ordered or once we have started creating your custom pieces. Thank you for understanding. 

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online.

If you placed a custom order, modifications may be made on a case by case basis. This will be determined by what products are being made, what materials have already been ordered, requested "need by" date, and details of the requested modication. Please contact us ASAP at RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com if you need a custom order modified. We will always do our very best to accommodate you. 

When will my order arrive?

Orders that require shipping within the U.S. will be delivered within 1-5 business days, depending on your preferred shipping method. Shipping to countries outside of the U.S. may take up to 14 days. Please get in touch with us ASAP at RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status. These shipping times do not include the Turn Around Time frame listed at the top left of the home page or the agreed upon "need by" date for custom orders. 

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

I put the wrong address when checking out. What can I do?

First, Contact us immediately at RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com so that we can attempt to change the shipping address for you before the order is fulfilled. In most cases we are able to assist with this easily and quickly. 

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping information when an order is placed. Rose & Rae Bowtique will not be responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address. Reshipping of packages returned to Rose & Rae due to an incorrect address can be re-shipped at the customer’s expense.

When we deliver your package to the shipping carrierof choice, the risk of loss and title of your purchase passes to you. That means packages marked as delivered, but 'not received', or packages lost in transit are the customer’s responsibility to locate. We are not able to issue refunds on lost packages. Please see the policies on Lost packages on the FAQ page. 

What countries do you ship to?

At this time we only ship within the United States and Canada. As we grow, we do have plans to extend our shipping options to other countries. Thank you for you understanding. 

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are a flat rate depending on which shipping option you choose. Please see below:

 

UNITED STATES DOMESTIC:

USPS First Class 2-5 Business Days (No Insurance Included) $6.50

USPS Priority 1-3 Business Days ($100 Insurance Included) $12.50

UPS Next Day Air Saver 4:30 PM ($100 Insurance Included) $19.50

PLEASE NOTE: If your order value is more than $75, we provide free USPS First Class shipping within the U.S.

*Local pickup and drop off options are also availiable at checkout. 

 

CANADA:

Express International—1 to 2 business days $35.00 USD

Standard International—2 to 3 business days $20.00 USD

Do you combine shipping?

We are unable to combine orders or refund shipping on multiple orders as orders may ship out at differnet times and additional products add weight to packages increasing the cost of shipping. 

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

We appreciate your business and pride ourselves on our quality, as well as our exemplary customer service.

Unfortunatly, due to the nature of the handmade products we sell, we DO NOT offer refunds or exchanges on any orders unless it is clear that there was a mistake in the quality of the item on our end. If there was a clear quality related mistake we deeply apologize and want to make it right. Customer Satisfaction and Quality are of the upmost importance to us. Please reach out ASAP at RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com within 3 days of recieving your order. Items must be in undamaged/unused condition, and returned in their original packaging with all tags / labels attached. We will always offer you exchanges and store credit before submitting any refunds. 

PLEASE NOTE: No refunds or exchanges will be processed until the return items are recieved and inspected. 

If you are unsure about clothing sizes, you are welcome to contact us for guidance and suggestions or visit the sizing section of the FAQ page. We are happy to provide you with sizing charts for the specific pattern used, as well as our knowledge of the stretch capability of specific materials.

For example, DBP and Ribs tend to have the most stretch. Bullet and Liverpool have good stretch to them also. Spandex and Swim have less stretch and Latexy Leathery looking materials have the least amount of stretch, so we always recommend sizing up on those. 

PLEASE NOTE: Custom Orders and Discounted / Clearance Items CANNOT be refunded or exchanged for any reason. Thank you for understanding. 

How do I return an item?

Please contact our customer service team ASAP via RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com. Providing the return is within the 3 day grace period and meets our return criteria, we will issue you with a USPS Priority 1-3 Business Days (with $100 Insurance Included) return label via email. You will need to print this off and attach it to the packaging of the product when returning it to us. You will need to arrange and pay for suitable packaging when returning an item.

PLEASE NOTE: We may ask you to provide us with a photo of the quality issue you're claiming before issuing you the return label. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. 

What do I do if I lose my return label?

For returns, we issue USPS Priority 1-3 Business Days (with $100 Insurance Included) return labels via email, so if you can locate the email we sent you, simply print off a new one. If you can’t find this email, please get in touch with us ASAP and request for it to be resent to you. At this time we ask that you verify your preferred email with us to assure that you receive the label in a timley manner. 

How long does it take to return an item?

Return labels are issued as USPS Priority 1-3 Business Days (with $100 Insurance Included)

Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you within 24 hours. We aim to process refunds within three days after receiving the item, but it can take several days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund into your account, or onto your card.

If you opt for an exchange, the processing time to recieve your new items will depend on the item that you choose to exchange it for since all items are handmade. This will be discussed when making your return or exchange choice. 

If you opt for store credit, you will recieve that within 24 hours of the item being returned. 

My order has arrived but it was damaged in transit. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged / faulty, or arrives opened with the contents missing, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team ASAP via RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com with the details.

We’ll respond within 24 hours and do our very best to help you navigate this situation. Unfortunatly, once the product leaves us and enters the hands of shipping carriers it is 100% out of our control. Many of our shipping options come with shipping insurance up to $100. You will need to contact and file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Contact UPS about a damaged package

Lastly, we also offer ROUTE Package Protection at checkout that is automatically added to your cart for your convenience. This service is only $0.98 for orders under $100 and only 3% for orders over $100. We HIGHLY recommend keeping this package protection in your cart when checking out. If you opt to remove this insurance option, the only thing to do is to contact the shipping carrier; however, if you purchased this insurance as suggested, you will need to contact Route Package Protection directly with your tracking number and order number in hand. 

Unfortunatly we are not able to issue any refunds, exchanges, or store credits for damaged / opened packages. We are deeply sorry this happened and are willing to help with this process in any way possible. 

My order has not arrived and is lost in transit. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order does not arrive and is lost in transit, or tracking says "delivered' but you do not have your order, please email our customer service team ASAP via RoseAndRaeBowtique@gmail.com with the details.

We’ll respond within 24 hours and do our very best to help you navigate this situation. Unfortunatly, once the product leaves us and enters the hands of shipping carriers it is 100% out of our control. There are a few options here. First, many of our shipping options come with shipping insurance up to $100. You can file a claim with the shipping carrier. Second, if your item was shipped by USPS, you can visit this link Missing Mail and Lost Packages | USPS to file a "Help request form" and a "Missing Mail Search". If your item was shipped by UPS, you can visit the following link, login or create an account, and email them: Contact UPS about a lost package

Lastly, we also offer ROUTE Package Protection at checkout that is automatically added to your cart for your convenience. This service is only $0.98 for orders under $100 and only 3% for orders over $100. We HIGHLY recommend keeping this package protection in your cart when checking out. If you opt to remove this insurance option, the only thing to do is to contact the shipping carrier as stated above; however, if you purchased this insurance as suggested, you will need to contact Route Package Protection directly with your tracking number and order number in hand. 

Unfortunatly we are not able to issue any refunds, exchanges, or store credits for lost or undelivered packages. We are deeply sorry this happened and are willing to help with this process in any way possible.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we do.

These are issued electronically by email and each contains a unique reference number. Our gift vouchers are ideal if you’re not sure what to get that special person in your life. Simply buy a gift voucher instead for the value of $10, $15, $20 $25, $50, $75, $100, or $150

Do you offer Customs? How can I order?

Yes, we are mainly a custom shop and we LOVE doing custom orders, you can order 2 ways:

1. In 'Services" you can add "Place a custom order here" to your cart and type out all the details in the notes section and then checkout and pay your shipping. We will reach out to you to confirm your order and send you and invoice for the custom products within 24 hours.

2. You contact us by any means to place a custom order. Many people come to us with an idea or an inspiration photo. Some come to us asking for recomendations for a specific holiday or event. Some customers say something like "Hi, my child loves sharks, what do you have?" We are happy to give our advice, bounce ideas around with you, send you photos of materials, search the web for the perfect fabric, discuss new patterns and designs that are popular in the small shop world, etc. Please reachout anytime. 

Lastly, there is a collection on this site called "Personalized Items". These fall under the return, exchange, and cancelation rules of custom orders. This collection includes specific items that you can add your name or personal phrases too.

How do I care for my bows and clothing?

Bow Care and other Accessories:

1. Spot clean or handwash with cold water

2. Lay flat to airdry

Sizing Help

What are the sizing options for headwraps?

Headwrap Sizing Options:

  • Newborn / Preemie: (11-13" head circumference)
  • Baby 0-6 Months: (13-15" head circumference)
  • Baby 6-12 Months: (16-19" head circumference)
  • Youth 1-5 Years: (19-21" head circumference)
  • Preteen To Adult 6 and older): (21"+ head circumference)

(Please let me know in the notes section if you need a specific size or larger size. I CAN and WILL accommodate you)

* It is recommended that you order 1 inch down from your head circumference especially when a large bow is involved because the materials used have good stretch capability and the bigger bows can weigh the wrap down. 

PLEASE NOTE: NYLONS & HEADBANDS are all ONE SIZE 

What size bows does your shop offer?

We are mainly a custom shop, therefore we offer all sizes of bows and all styles of bows. You just let us know how many inches you want your bow to be and we make it happen. 

Where can I find sizing charts?

Some items may be uploaded with a photo of the sizing chart. 

Often times, we will mesh patterns together and sometimes a single pattern will provide a large amount of style options. So, if you do not see a sizing chart photo attached to the listing, please reach out and we will get back to you ASAP with the sizing charts used to make the item you are interested in. 

My child or Myself are in-between sizes. What should I do?

The majority of our clothing has great stretch to it so you should be okay to size up or down. 

However, it is always recommended and highly encouraged that you size up in this situation, especially if you want to get the most use possible out of your items. 

When making a custom item for you, I can cut the fabric exactly between the 2 sizes, so esentially you have a 1/2 size! Pretty cool huh? I can also alter the length of the legs or arms as well as the width of the garment to suit a tall thin person or a short husky person. Thats the beauty of a custom order! 

How are Bling Tights One Size for all Kids?

Bling tights fit age 1 toddlers to small adult (5 foot 120lbs) best. They are a fishnet base so they are extremly stretchy. While they are not fitted for infants, people have gotten creative and rolled the waist, bunched at the hips, and bunched the feet to use them for infants. I did this for my own daughter and would be happy to share the photos with you by request. 

The netting of the fishnets will be closer together on smaller sized children and therefore you will see more color. As the size of the child increases, the netting has more seperation between threading and more skin is shown through the net.
